Get ready to experience the thrill of gaming with a new character inspired by the legendary League of Legends mid-laner, Faker in Supervive! This exciting addition to the Supervive universe brings the iconic player’s aggressive play style and strategic brilliance to the game.
The gaming world is buzzing about Supervive, a MOBA-style battle royale that’s the first project from Theorycraft Games, the new U.S. studio led by the legendary team behind League of Legends. The game’s gameplay and roster are heavily influenced by the Riot Games classic, and even includes a character inspired by the five-time world champion Faker.
Jin, the “dangerous blink assassin,” won’t be playable during the closed beta testing. But guess what? One of the 16 hunters will be available in the game’s open beta, starting in Korea on Thursday! Jin is Korean, and the developers are working on “culturally resident” skins for the character.
Jessica Nam, the former executive producer of League of Legends, shared some insights about Faker during an interview at G-Star 2024 in Busan. Nam described Faker as a flashy playmaker, highlighting his unique mechanical gift.
Who is Faker?
Faker, T1’s star mid-laner, is celebrated for his aggressive playstyle and his ability to make game-changing decisions.
Nam believes that Faker’s skills make him an ideal “assassin” hunter.
And what is Supervive?
The Supervive game is like a mix of top-down MOBAs like League of Legends and battle royale games like Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds.
The game features 40 players divided into teams of two and four. Unlike other MOBAs, this game has a top-down view and the last team standing wins. This makes the Supervive gameplay more exciting and gives players a chance to shine and lead their team to victory, just like Faker has done.
