Korean startup Fillit has launched a handy makeup case for your smartphone. Essentially it is a pocket-friendly makeup kit meant to be used when you are on the go. It targets the beauty conscious millennials and aims to simplify their makeup rituals.
As smartphones have become a part of our lives, combining a smartphone case and makeup kit is a brilliant idea. And having a small portable makeup case convenient to use is a blessing for those who donβt like carrying a large handbag. The Korean brand Fillit has capitalized on both by creating a product that lets you bring your makeup even when you are not carrying any bag.
The Fillit Case
This phone case doubles up as an on-the-go makeup palette. You can choose amongst two sets of makeup trays β combo of powder and lipstick palette or a combo of eyeshadow and lipstick palette. The palette is slim, so you donβt have to lug around a huge tote bag. As you open up the lid, it has a built-in mirror on its surface. This Fillit Case gives you a portable vanity essentially in your pocket.
The case is made from durable materials with a urethane coating that helps protect the contents. It is easier to grip the phone with the caseβs smooth round design. There are five colour options you can choose from β white, black, silver, purple, and rose gold. The Fillit Case supports iPhone 6/6s/7/8 and Galaxy S9.
The Fillit Powerbank
Similar to the Fillit Case, it also has a space for a palette and a mirror. The difference here is that it comes with an LED backlight mirror. You can use this makeup kit to retouch your makeup even in the dark. It reminds you of a retro time with backstage mirror lights in the makeup zone.
It contains Murata cell lithium-ion gel polymer battery with a 4600mAh rating. And most important, the whole power bank only weighs less than 200 grams.
The Fillit Palette
The most important part of the whole idea! This sleek and thin makeup palette allows you to leave the bulky bag behind and still carry your makeup kit. Six palette options are available.
Right now, it is impossible to customize the palette colour like in the Blemoon Kit from BLESSED MOON. But the company is launching 3 more palette options this year to give users more variety.
