Similar to the Korean webtoon and drama, the anime adaptation tells the journey of Lim Ju Gyeong, a high school girl who transform into high school student with stunning visual using makeup tutorials she finds on YouTube.
As she feels fed up with being bullied for her looks, Ju Gyeong becomes a makeup pro, earning admiration from everyone around her. And yet, she’s still terrified of anyone seeing her bare face.
Her life then takes a twist when Lee Su Ho, a handsome yet mysterious transfer student, becomes the only person who accidentally sees her without makeup. As Ju Gyeong tries to keep her secret safe, she and Su Ho grow closer, sharing their own insecurities and pasts.
The question is, can Su Ho help Ju Gyeong discover that true beauty goes beyond appearances?
The project is a stunning collaboration between two major Korean companies, Cocktail Media, a Korean content-producing company, and Studio N, the subsidiary of Naver Webtoon.
The first episode of the anime adaptation was released on August 7. As of today, the total number of episodes is still unknown.
