Bibimmyeon (Bibim Ramen or Bibim Men), a delightful dish of cold and spicy noodles, is one of the best Korean dishes in the summertime. As the temperature rises, Koreans prefer cold noodles (Bibimmyeon) to hot noodles. Therefore, summer is the perfect season for Bibimmyeon, and product sales are expected to peak in the Bibimyeon season.

Paldo’s Bibimmyeon launched in 1984. Since then, it has remained a leader in the instant “bibim” mixed noodle segment. Fun fact: Paldo’s Bibimmyeon is a favorite among the members of BTS!

Bibimmyeon or Bibim Men from Paldo is a broth-less ramyeon with sweet and spicy seasoning sauce. Here are simple instructions to prepare your own Bibimmyeon:

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water (100°C) for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and rinse the noodles in cold water 2 to 3 times.
  3. Add some ice, put the paste soup, and mix them well with the noodles.
  4. Slice green onions thinly and sprinkle them on top.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil, and it’s ready to serve!

You can savor Bibim Men with kimchi and some Korean BBQ. Enjoy!
