There are many K-beauty brands that have partnered with K-drama and K-pop stars for endorsement, including Jun Ji Hyun, K-pop band Red Velvet, TaeYeon from Girls’ Generation, and many more. Read on ahead to find out which of your favorite K-drama stars are endorsement ambassadors for which K-beauty brands!
Etude House
Over the years, many Korean celebrities have represented this brand, including actresses like Jun Ji Hyun (My Love From Another Star), Park Shin Hye (Doctors), Song Hye Kyo (Descendants of the Sun), and boy band SHINee. Their latest collaboration and endorsement came from the girl group Red Velvet.
Etude House collaborated with Red Velvet and came up with an exciting range of lip products. The Matte Chic Lip Lacquer comes in all the red shades, and they are endorsed by the members of Red Velvet K-pop band. These products have great longevity on your lips, are creamy in texture, and are much more opaque than many others. The shades’ names are very interesting, like the Seulgo Burgundy, Irene Red, Wendy Brown, and Yeri Pink. Essentially, their shade names indicate their undertones. For all the fans of the drama series Tempted, Joy Grapefruit is the choice of shade for Joy.
Gelato Factory
This Seoul-based brand makes nail stickers that can be easily and quickly attached to your nails. Now, you don’t have to worry about the expensive costs of a manicure or the time it takes to get your nails done. These nail stickers from Gelato Factory will solve all your problems. They have collaborated with TaeYeon from Girls’ Generation. In their range, three manicure designs are personal favorites of TaeYeon, and the brand has named the set as “TaeYeon’s Pick”.
Innisfree
Innisfree has collaborated with many K-drama stars, K-pop idols, and Korean models. Some of the famous celebrity endorsements include actresses Song Hye Kyo (Descendants of the Sun), Moon Geun Young (Autumn in My Heart), and Lee Min Ho (Summer Love) and K-pop bands like Twice and Wanna One.
YoonaA, a member of Girls’ Generation (also known as SNSD), has endorsed the brand several times over the years. Her latest CF promotes Innisfree’s “Vivid Cotton Ink” collection of lip colors.
Laneige
The latest Laneige CF is endorsed by Lee Sung Kyung (Cheese in the Trap, Doctors), model-actress from K-drama. Lee Sung Kyung grooves to the beat while flaunting her flawless skin perfected by Laneige’s Layering Cover Cushion & Concealing Base. She has endorsed other products in the range like Two Tone Tint Lip Bar and is the brand ambassador for Laneige.
Tony Moly
K-beauty brand Tony Moly has teamed up with K-pop group Monsta X again for endorsing its brand-new hydration cream. The boys promote Tony Moly’s “Chok Chok” green tea water cream. It is a water-based, intense, hydration cream. Previously, the boys also endorsed a lip tint, LipTone Get It Tint S. It is a gel-like formula that comes in six neutral and vivid shades. There are some dedicated Monsta X goods in the Tony Moly range.
