PUBG Battleground x NewJeans: KRAFTON Announces Impressive Collab!
Korean giant gaming company, KRAFTON, is hosting a collab event between its greatest masterpiece, PUBG Battleground, and Kpop’s monster rookie, NewJeans.
On June 11, KRAFTON announced the latest update for PUBG Battleground via official X account. This announcement features the patch update for the collab event between PUBG Battleground and Kpop sensation NewJeans.
According to the announcement, you will be able to enjoy an exciting wonderland of PUBG and NewJeans! First up, the Taego map gets a magnificent transformation with the PUBG x NewJeans School, special record shops with jukeboxes, buses, billboards, energy drinks, and even adorable bunnies joining the celebration!
But that’s not all – there are also Ranked updates, an SMG rebalance, and a brand-new Survivor Pass for you to explore.
Limited-Edition Decorations and Skins!
Here are some of the skins and new features you will enjoy in KRAFTON new collab event between PUBG Battleground and NewJeans.
1. Truck Stage
Firstly, there will be a truck stage available starting from Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo islands. You can use this stage to perform to trigger some special music video from NewJeans, in game!
2. PUBG x NewJeans Collab School Event
Secondly, KRAFTON has changed Taego’s School playground into a PUBG x NewJeans stage. This will be incredibly exciting as you can engage with NewJeans music videos simply by performing PUBG x NewJeans emote on the stage.
3. Special Music Store
Thirdly, some buildings in Taego have been revamped into PUBG x NewJeans music stores. Inside, you’ll find stunning PUBG x NewJeans Jukeboxes.
4. NewJeans Decorations
In addition to the above features, you will also witnessed various adorable decors in PUBG Battleground x NewJeans collab event.
PUBG x NewJeans buses and billboards are now scattered throughout Taego, adding a unique touch to the game. You can also find newly added rabbits around the PUBG x NewJeans School and music stores.
5. Iconic Emblems Around the Map
Also, before dropping from the plane in PUBG, you’ll see bubbles and fireworks, along with collaboration banners for PUBG x NewJeans. Energy Drinks, Care Packages (except in Paramo), and Vehicle Music are all themed around NewJeans, adding a festive touch to the game.
6. PUBG Battleground x NewJeans Collab Crafts and Skins
During this PUBG Battleground x NewJeans collab event, KRAFTON has prepared special iconic crafts and skins just for you!
Head to the Workshop’s Special Crafting section to craft 19 PUBG x NewJeans collaboration items, including costume sets, weapon skins, and sprays, using PUBG x NewJeans Tokens. Not only that but KRAFTON has also prepared PUBG Battleground x NewJeans most adorable collab backpacks and outfits as part of the event skins, so stay tuned to the official account for more updates!
7. In-Game Missions and Quests

Missions:
- Perform any PUBG x NewJeans emote at an event stage in the starting location before the match starts. You can also complete this by joining a Group Emote.
- Visit the newly decorated School in Taego.
- Use the PUBG x NewJeans Jukebox.
