Glowpick hosts the Glowpick Beauty Awards every year to celebrate the hottest Korean Beauty trends and top-notch products in skincare, makeup, fragrances, and baby care. These awards happen twice a year, in June and November, and are all based on the reviews and ratings from Glowpick users.
The winning products are based on a whopping 331,605 reviews submitted on the app from November 16th, 2023 to November 15th, 2024.
What is Glowpick?
Glowpick is a beauty review service where Korean users can freely share their honest opinions on beauty products.
Glowpick, launched in August 2014, was the first platform in Korea dedicated to honest consumer beauty reviews. Back then, internet communities were flooded with spammy or untrustworthy reviews. Glowdayz Inc., the owner of Glowpick, wanted to create a fair platform that consumers could trust, so they developed a unique algorithm that only considers credible and verified reviews. Thanks to some clever artificial intelligence, the platform filters out suspicious and fake reviews and shows the real opinions of verified, loyal reviewers.
