Over the years, these luxury fashion brands have grown from the prestigious Seoul Fashion Week and made their presence known in the international fashion shows. Many of these labels acclaim icons like Lady Gaga, Rihanna as their patrons.

#1 Gentle Monster
The statement eyewear brand is quite popular not only in Korea but other countries as well. Among the big names who’ve donned Gentle Monster include Beyoncé, Rihanna, Billie Eilish, and Tilda Swinton.
Launched by Hankook Kim in 2011, the luxury Korean fashion brand is popular for its work with several artists and designers. There are collaborative projects with the likes of Kris Wu, Jennie from BLACKPINK, and Alexander Wang.
#2 WE11DONE
Launched by G-Dragon’s sister Dami Kwon and Jessica Jung in 2016, the luxury fashion brand is popular for its streetwear style. The name is pronounced as ‘well done’ and the inspiration comes from the 11 member team of Kwon and Jung’s concept shop, Rare Market.
It has marked its presence in the international fashion scene by showing in Parish Fashion Week 2020. You can find its collection in big-name stores like Saks and Net-A-Porter.
#3 MINJUKIM
Anyone who binges on Netflix probably knows about the label MINJUKIM. The brand’s founder, Kim Min-ju, made history in 2020 by winning Netflix’s Next in Fashion reality show.
She is also popular for her outfits for BTS’ songs DNA and I Need U during the Love Yourself world tour. Members of Red Velvet are also fans of the brand and they wore MINJUKIM in music video of One of These Nights.
#4 KYE
Kathleen Hanhee Kye’s brand made its debut in Seoul Fashion Week in 2014 and since then, it is making waves in the fashion industry.
Popular for its fresh, vivid, and unisex designs, clothing from KYE is liked by Kourtney Kardashian and Rihanna. K-pop idols G-Dragon and CL are often wearing KYE outfits. She also has collaborative projects with Gentle Monster and Adidas.
#5 The Volon
The luxury handbags brand was launched in 2013 by Eujung Jang. The name of the brand comes from 18th-century Genevan philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s phrase “Le volonté de tous” which means “the will of all”.
You can find The Volon in luxury retailers like Net-a-Porter and Farfetch amongst other Korean luxury fashion brands.
